Welcome to Mayfair Man with Van. By booking our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our services.

Customer: The individual or entity booking the moving services.

Booking: The process of reserving our moving services.

2. Booking and Payment Terms

To secure a booking, the customer must provide accurate and complete information. A booking is confirmed once the service provider sends a confirmation email.

Payment: Full payment is required at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.
Methods: We accept various payment methods including credit/debit cards and bank transfers.
Deposits: A deposit may be required for large or long-distance moves.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled service to qualify for a full refund.

Less than 48 hours: A cancellation fee may apply.
No-shows: Full payment will be charged.

4. Service Conditions

Our services include packing, transportation, and unpacking as agreed upon during booking.

Packaging Materials: We provide necessary packaging materials unless otherwise requested.
Access: Customers must ensure that our team has clear access to the property at the scheduled time.
Timeframes: We aim to arrive within the agreed timeframe but cannot be held responsible for delays due to unforeseen circumstances.

5. Liability

Mayfair Man with Van takes utmost care in handling your belongings. However, we are not liable for items lost or damaged due to causes beyond our control.

Insurance: Basic insurance is included, but customers are encouraged to obtain additional coverage for valuable items.
Claims: All claims must be filed within 7 days of the service.

6. Insurance

We provide basic insurance covering accidental damage during the move.

Exclusions: High-value items, fragile goods, and certain electronics may require additional insurance.
Coverage Limit: The standard coverage limit is £10,000 per household.

7. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

Preparation: Ensuring all items are ready for transport, properly packed, and labeled.
Access: Providing clear access to loading and unloading areas.
Valuables: Securing or removing valuable or fragile items that require special handling.

8. Changes to Terms

Mayfair Man with Van reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Customers will be notified of any significant changes prior to the next booking.

9. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9.1 Dispute Resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt to resolve the matter through mediation before seeking legal recourse.

11. Force Majeure

Mayfair Man with Van is not liable for failure to perform any obligation if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, or government restrictions.

13. Entire Agreement

These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the customer and Mayfair Man with Van regarding the services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
